The very well known British Chelsea
Flower show celebrates it's centenary year this year on May 21st
- 25th 2013.
For its centenary RHS Chelsea Flower Show,
many of the show gardens are promoting a greener, brighter future by
highlighting sustainable living, ways to preserve Britain’s
horticultural heritage and the protection of some of the world’s
most vulnerable people.
The show is sponsored by M&G Investments whose M&G
Garden, designed by Roger Platts, will celebrate
garden design over the past 100 years. A garden of modern plant
varieties and classic design, it captures the design trends and
themes of RHS Chelsea shows past and present, to demonstrate that,
although design has evolved, many trends have stood the test of
time.
There is also a Chelsea Flower Show Florist of the Year competition and Chelsea centenary Twitter and Facebook Photography Competition.
